Holiday Maker FAQ

Can I check in after 9pm?
Our staff can often arrange for a check-in after 9pm if we have sufficient warning. Full payment and electronic sign-in can also be done online before you arrive. There is a noise curfew after 9.30pm, so no setting up sites after that time. If you are running late, call ahead before 9pm, as after that time our calls will divert to voicemail.
Can we have a fire?
Solid fuel fires are not permitted during school holidays, public holiday weekends, and from the October school holidays until the end of the Easter school holidays. No solid fuel fires on camp sites. Fires are ONLY permitted in designated fire pit areas.
Can we have Guests?
Yes. All visitors must report to reception immediately. Day visitor fees are $5 per individual or $15 per family.
What are the reception hours?
Generally there will be someone in the office from 9-5, and between 8am-9pm there will be a staff member who can answer the phone and take bookings. Whilst we do have staff onsite 24/7, we do not expect them to take phone calls, deposits, payments, or bookings after 9pm. After 9pm staff are onsite for security purposes and only respond to requests on the 2-way radio at the office door.
What time is checkout?
Checkout is at 10am each day. We have good rates if people wish to have a late checkout, just check with our office staff before 9.30 am on the day of departure. There is no need to go to the office to checkout, unless you need to drop off a key.
